My fascination with technology began in my childhood. As a kid, my idea of fun was watching and completing Photoshop tutorials, and learning HTML and CSS. I also read tech blogs like Gizmodo and Engadget everyday as I loved all things tech.

Diving deep into photography and allowed me to discover the field of UX, which struck me as the ideal career path. It perfectly married my engineering background with my yearning for creative expression. Also, UX allowed me to leverage the systematic approach of engineering design while satisfying my deep-rooted desire to be creative.

This early passion for technology steered me towards an engineering degree at the University of British Columbia.

As I dove deeper into my studies, I realized I was spending more time taking and editing photos than I was studying. I realized I was longing for the creative spark that I had as a kid.

You'll find me DJing live on Twitch, playing mostly deep and progressive house.

Other than that, you'll might find me day trading meme coins and NFTs, capturing photos while travelling, and gaming with all my friends.

Currently, I'm diving deeper into coding for design systems, learning to create better micro-interactions and upgrading my skill set with 3D tools like 3ds Max to create more visually compelling products.

Soon I took the leap. I pursued a certificate in Graphic Design at BCIT and completed a UX bootcamp at Brainstation, using the rigorous design principles from my engineering background to propel my journey in UX Design.

Lead contributor of the Maple Design System (MDS). Introduced color tokens, component documentation. Launched design system office hours for ongoing maintenance.
